You get to enjoy the beautiful landscape, pick apples to take home, and make precious memories with your friends and family. Grandad’s Apples have everything you will need for a fun fall day. Pick apples, find your perfect pumpkin, shop around the bakery and country store, and do so many fun weekend activities! A stop at Grandad’s Apples is the best place to make fall memories.

Apple Orchard

Every time you visit Grandad’s Apples, you get to choose hand-picked apples. On some select weekends, you can go and pick them yourself! Apples are sold by the pound, ½ peck, peck, ½ bushel, and bushel. There are 30 different apples to choose from. In September, Fuji, Golden Delicious, Jonagold. Red Delicious, Shizuka, Ambrosia, Cortland, Jonaprice, Ludacrisp, McIntosh, Mutsu, Cameo, Granny Smith, Red Rome, Stayman, and Winesap all ripen up.

Pumpkin Patch

Beginning in late September, Grandad’s Apples have pumpkins arrive for you to pick from. Find the perfect pumpkin for a jack-o-lantern, decoration, or a pie. There will be traditional orange and various colors, sizes, and textures to choose from. Every pumpkin is gourd-gious!

Bakery and Country Store

Grandad’s Apples Country Store offers a variety of goods. You can buy fresh produce grown on the land, canned goods, crafts, and seasonal decorations. Select from apple butter jams, jellies, and chow-chow to bring a little bit of Grandad’s Apples to your kitchen.

If you are wanting a snack while you are there visit the bakery. You can choose from many apple-related options such as apple cider donuts, caramel apple cookies, apple turnover, fried apple pie, a slice of apple pie, caramel apples, apple cider slushy, the mountain glacier–apple cider slushy with vanilla ice cream, or a nice warm cup of apple cider. For those not wanting apples, you can get a chocolate chip cookie, vanilla ice cream, an ice cream sandwich, and coffee.

Weekend Activities

On the weekends, Grandad’s Apples has fun activities for the family! Each activity costs $5.00 per person. Enjoy a corn maze, the cow train, and apple cannon. Arrive before 4:00 p.m. to ensure you can enjoy both the cow train and apple cannon!
